Masters Games and Hollie's Birthday

Saturday night was a busy one for me! Hollie was having her 21st Birthday again and I had to support the family by watching dad go through the Masters Games opening Parade! We had to look hard for a parking lot at 5:05, the meeting time was at 5:30 for a parade start at 6:00. But the parade started on time! Alice Springs on time that is 6:10. So there was plenty of time for me to take pictures of the wonderful outfits and get-ups teams wore! 

 I was hanging mostly with the basketball group of the parade; because that's what dad was competing in. The Polar Bears basketball team all wore pink! Pink suits, hats, noses etc! I found out that they got all their great clothing off of e-bay! 

 I recon out of the whole group, this guy in a pink-panther inspired outfit was epic! He had the whole thing down; tail, nose and ears! I didn't look as awesome next to him, but I tried! I wore dark blue skinny jeans with a light white and blue print butterfly top. It was my little sister's top and she got pretty upset when she found out I wore it without asking her permission.

Here was the early birds in my dad's basketball team for those ages 50+. Very snappy uniforms, nice green color, loose sleeves and a snappy collar.

These ladies were fierce in their matching pirate outfits! They were on a mission so I didn't find out what team they from, what  sport, where did you get those outfits, but I got a picture of them! Yeah!

These guys had great shirts - I think they're great because they have a lot of different drinks on their shirts! Apparently there was a big sale that they all went to...

Now we arrive at Hollie's Birthday. A great dinner at the Blue Moon Restaurant, good food, BYO and a karaoke machine!

Here's the birthday girl! Hollie (right) wore a great black mini covered with a bright pink cardigan. Catherine (left) wore a great black dress, complete with a belt and little detailed sequins down the front! Hollie's friend in the middle (whom I have forgotten the name~Sorry!) wearing a great print dress full of colors!
