Sari try out!

Me and My sister headed over to Mrs Vida's house to learn how to wear a Sari! At church ladies would wear them and look really exotic and elegant. I wanted to know how to wear a Sari! Along with the long fabric, you have to get a choli and a long skirt in order to help the sari skirt hold up.

Mrs. Vida did the pleats on this Sari with her hands and made them look perfect (mine looked like a child's drawing). These pleats are made with part of the fabric that is then tucked in at the front to create the pleats. (That's an art form in itself)

This was another Sari of Mrs. Vida's that I tried on. This one is for more special occasions - I think it was because of the more "royal" colors. I liked the gold trim with the warm red and this fabric was super light making it cool to move (and handy when I wanna dance and get all sweaty)
