Gladiator shoes are still in! But now studs and more attachments are more frequently seen. I adore the studs on the shoes that sit on the straps, they make it less boring and look kinda tough. The white shoes in the top right had extra clear straps, making her feet look more dainty than the other black studded shoes!
Here are some of the artworks that I really admired
This is Bianca Watkins' first major called: 'Yesterday, Three Thousand Years Ago'. I've seen Bianca work so hard on this artwork and I think it looks beautiful. The detail she's put into it is astonishing, different papers, colors and pieces of mirrors inserted. This artwork, in my opinion is covered with love seen in the detail and precision throughout.
Tom Clarke created 'Beneath the Skin'. When he was making the artwork, he just started with the skeletons, but over time the background and muscles appeared out of nowhere and composed this awesome artwork! The movement of colors from green to red across the back was a great detail along with the skeletons appearing slightly out of the frame.
Kirsten Major made 'Floriade'. Her inspiration was from flowers and I am very impressed with her work because she created lots of movement in the splashes of color using pastel. I can't work with pastel very well, yet Kirsten has added in slight details like adding in the white tips to all the flower. And used a tool that has created 'comb' marks in parts of the artwork to enhance parts of the flowers and create depth.
