On the weekend I attended a Toastmaster conference and had so much fun! It was a full on day, full of talks and speeches that took us on an emotional ride and not wanting to get off! The picture above has all the Alice Springs Toastmaster's ladies and Mark Hunter. Mark was the Toastmaster World Champion 2008 and he gave us the treat of performing his winning speech.
These two ladies were awesome (forgive me I forgot the names!). The lady in the green dress was the hilarious announcer of the Humorous speech contest. She dressed up and awed everyone not just in her outfit, but also with her sharp witty jokes throughout her intro speech. The lady with the long hair I simply adored, I haven’t seen that hair on anyone before! She got up and performed her humorous speech called "Beauty and the Breast". I was relieved that she didn't scold all of the men on the planet or complain about other ladies whining about their breasts; it was a beautiful scientific celebration of breasts!
Here is Carmel and Peter in nice catching tops. I adored Carmel's red shirt, it had the loose sleeves and sequins on it! Peter's looked rally relaxing and got me thinking about Fiji or Hawaii, can you beleive that a shirt can take you on a trip?

And I put in pictures of our desserts just to make you hungry! Sticky date pudding and Panacotta sure are a good mixture!
